Within the figure with mask was cutted out a round hole, on back side he sewed pasteboard over the hole. After the linen was in some places cutted out, the linen was fold down and sewed on, and covered with colour. Behind the holes was sewed paper on. The background is made with pressed on colour. The blue shirt is on the right side sewed on the canvas, and left at the neck the shirt was pulled through an open line.
